Summer Light
Notes on the seasons and what they teach.

Summer light does not creep into the world. It arrives generously, brightening the fields, the walls and the small corners that shade had left untouched.
There is a kindness in that abundance. The season asks some things to bloom, some things to stretch, and some things to stand openly in the warmth they have been waiting for.
I am trying to learn this kind of timing: to trust the fuller brightness, to let what has been hidden come forward, and to remember that growth sometimes looks like turning towards the sun.
