Stone and silence

Some places teach without saying anything.

Open countryside with a still and grounded feeling.

Some places teach without saying anything. A stone wall, a field edge, a path worn by feet older than your questions.

Silence in those places is not empty. It has weight. It gathers weather, footsteps, patience and time.

I leave steadier than I arrived, reminded that endurance is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is simply staying where you are, becoming useful, and letting the years move around you.
